The great straw bale classic has been revised! Still the definitive
book on building with straw in Canada, this book is packed with good solid,
information, and plenty of sketches showing all the details of the building
process. One improvement over the last eddition is the section of colour photos.
The Camel's Back crew has done it again, keeping the tone both
entertaining and enlightening. As before, this book is a necessity for anyone
planning or building a straw home in Canada, or elsewhere.
- "The New Straw bale Home" by Catherine Wenek Catherine's
book is an excellent counter point to "More Straw Bale Building" with less
information on the building process and more focus on the beauty of these
homes. Her beautiful colour photo filled book shows us how wonderful straw
homes can look and feel. It includes several Canadian homes also.
